Terms of service
As of: August 18, 2026
Translation for convenience
1. Provider
These terms govern the use of the Discord Dynamic Voice Manager, operated by:
Ingo Seidel
Kreuzstraße 11, 64331 Weiterstadt
E-Mail: jackydog89+discordbot@gmail.com
2. Subject matter
The service consists of a Discord bot that manages voice channels automatically and a web dashboard for configuring it. The bot creates, renames and removes voice channels within the configured categories and provides a function for distributing members randomly across groups.
3. Who may use it
The service is provided exclusively for the provider’s own community servers. It is not aimed at the general public and is not offered to third parties for use on their own servers. There is no entitlement to have the bot set up on someone else’s server.
Members of the respective servers may use it. Only people who hold the Discord “Manage Server” permission on the server in question, or who own it, can change configuration; that permission is re-checked server-side on every operation.
4. Cost
Use is currently free of charge. No fee is charged and the service is not sold.
The provider reserves the right to offer the service, in whole or in part, for a fee at a later date. Any such change will be announced in advance and will apply only going forward. Providing the service free of charge so far creates no entitlement to permanently free use; equally, introducing a fee later creates no retroactive payment obligation. Should a fee be introduced, separate terms will be published which must be expressly accepted.
5. User obligations
When using the service you must not:
- misuse it, in particular by triggering functions automatically or excessively in order to disrupt operation,
- circumvent security measures or obtain unauthorised access,
- use it for unlawful purposes or in breach of Discord’s terms of service.
Administrators are responsible for the security of their Discord account. Where two-factor authentication is enabled, they are responsible for storing their recovery codes safely; losing them can mean permanently losing dashboard access.
6. Availability
The service is provided without any assurance of availability. There is no entitlement to uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, faults, and changes to the Discord platform or its APIs may cause temporary or permanent limitations. The provider may discontinue the service, in whole or in part, at any time.
7. Relationship to Discord
This service is independent and is not affiliated with Discord Inc. Use requires a Discord account, and Discord’s own terms and policies apply in addition. Where they conflict, Discord’s terms prevail as far as the platform itself is concerned.
8. Liability
The provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For ordinary negligence, liability arises only from breach of a material contractual obligation - one whose fulfilment makes proper use possible in the first place and on whose observance you may rely - and is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of such a contract. Liability is otherwise excluded. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
As the service is provided free of charge, no warranty is given in particular for the completeness, correctness or continued availability of the automatic channel management. The bot only ever removes channels it created and registered itself; manually created channels are never at risk of deletion.
9. Suspension
The provider may restrict or end access to the dashboard, or the use of individual functions, where these terms are breached or proper operation is otherwise jeopardised.
10. Changes to these terms
These terms may be adjusted, in particular when the scope of the service or the legal framework changes. The version published on this page is the applicable one; the date of the last change is shown above. Any move to a paid offering follows section 4 exclusively.
11. Data protection
What data is processed - and what explicitly is not - is described in the privacy policy.
12. Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the state in which a user is habitually resident remain unaffected. Should any provision be invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
